You up for the normal lives again, back to Office?
Well it’s a tricky question as a lot has changed/happened in the last three years. We have had faced the dreadful phases of the pandemic and lockdown. Innumerable lives lost, losses that can never be made whole. On the very same time, there were many who lost their sources of income and the remaining were working from home except frontline workers. These exceptions were indeed exceptional, who put their lives on line to save many.
Now, everything seems to be getting better and peaceful. Everything has reopened, people are back to work, children to school though few companies are still continuing with work from home or alternative days at work regime. With this progress a lot of us has got the idea that pandemic has ended for good, but this idea is far from reality as new cases are emerging now and the situation has become very uncertain. According to some news reports this is the beginning of 4th wave as if the last three hadn’t caused enough trouble. We cannot let that happen and along with that we should not ignore the fact that many who have survived the virus, are still facing the aftereffects. Then there are people who have disturbed sleep schedules and lifestyles and now suffering from depression. And getting back to normal lives is going to take some patience and lots of effort. So, now comes the point that what we should do?
As Employees: One should get vaccinated, also we do not know if our peers and coworkers are vaccinated therefore, take proper precautions at all times. Wear good quality masks and maintain social distancing as much as possible. Exercise to improve your strength and stamina, giving you that extra power you may need to fight the infection. Which leaves us with dual responsibility of pushing the economic growth to pre-pandemic levels while with avoiding 4th or 5th wave.
