Each tube contains:
                         Beclomethasone Dipropionate I.P. 0.025 % w/w
                         Neomycin Sulphate I.P. 0.5 % w/w
                         Clotrimazole I.P. 1 % w/w
                         Cream base    q.s.

After binding to the receptor, the steroid-receptor complex binds to chromatin and stimulates the formation of mRNA. The mRNA stimulates the synthesis of enzymes which inhibits PG and leucotreine synthesis. Thus, rendering the actions of anti-inflammatory & anti-allergic. After absorption from the skin, the drug is widely distributed in the region. It is metabolized in liver and after conjugation excreted in urine.

Neomycin 

It is an amminoglycoside antibiotic with a bactericidal action. It inhibits the initiation of protein synthesis of the pathogens. Neomycin is well absorbed when applied locally and distributed in extracellular fluids. It is not metabolized and it is excreted unchanged in urine.

Clotrimazole 

It is a anti-fungal agent which interferes with ergosterol synthesis and therefore, alters the permeability of cell membranes of susceptible fungi. It penetrates the epidermis but there is little or no systemic absorption.

INDICATIONS

• Allergic contact dermatitis

• Atopic Eczema

• Lichen Simplex

• Primary irritant dermatitis

• Psoriasis

• Seborrhoeic dermatitis

• Varicose eczema

• Fungal infections

DOSAGE
Recommended to apply topically in and around the affected area 2 to 3 times daily.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Chicken pox, scabies, herpes, acne, rosacea, leg ulcers, tubercular & viral skin diseases, prolonged & extensive use in pregnancy.
