Diclofenac Potassium B.P. 50 mg

Arachidonic Acid in presence of Cyclo-Oxygenase it tranformed to Prostaglandins which causes inflammation and leads to pyrexia and pain. There are 2 types of Cyclo-Oxygenase (COX) enzymes, COX-1 & COX-2. COX-1 is a friendly enzyme and COX-2 is a destructive enzyme which produce Prostaglandins which are harmful for the body.Diclofenac inhibits COX-2 rather than COX-1 & hence it is safe.
