COMPOSITION  
Each uncoated tablet contains :
Clomiphene Citrate I.P. 25 / 50 mg

       

Clomiphene Citrate induces LH surge from pituitary thus inducing ovulation in females 

Clomiphene Citrate induces release of LH & FSH from pituitary leading to spermatogenesis

Clomiphene Citrate is readily absorbed orally.it undergoes hepatic metabolism and is excreted in urine and faeces.

  INDICATIONS

In Females: Annovulation
In Males: Oligospermia
 
DOSAGE

In annovulation : 50 mg daily dose for 5 days starting from 5th day of menstrual cycle. If ovulation does not occur, a second course of 100 mg daily dose should be given and repeated for every cycle till ovulation occurs.
In Oligospermia : 25 mg for 24 days followed by a rest period of 5 days and to be continued for 6-9 months.
